For Grant Recipients
The Stollery Charitable Foundation requests a written acknowledgement of each year's contributions, confirming the dollar amount received from the Foundation and indicating the date that the grant payment was received. A formal Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) tax receipt is not required. This written confirmation of grant receipt should be submitted prior to November 30th - the Foundation's fiscal year end - the year the grant payment is received.
The Foundation welcomes discussions with grantee organizations about recognition. Recipients are encouraged to use a grant from the Stollery Charitable Foundation as leverage for additional funding as this approach has often been successful for other grantees in the past.
The Foundation requires feedback from organizations following the provision of a grant - that is, information is sought regarding how the grant has been spent and how it has benefitted the community. A Reporting Guidelines document is made available when the grant is provided and a response is required within a year.
